Terms of Use

Effective date: 27 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and SMBDM Technology LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"), the maker of Singself. By using the Singself app or singself.com you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Singself.

The one rule that matters most: only clone your own voice, or a voice whose owner has clearly agreed. Never use Singself to pretend to be someone else.

1. Who can use Singself

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they accept these terms for you.

2. Voices: consent and no impersonation

You may only create a voice from recordings of your own voice, or of a person who has given you clear permission to clone their voice for the way you plan to use it.
You must not use Singself to impersonate anyone, or to make audio that could reasonably be taken as a real person saying or singing something they didn't. That includes celebrities, public figures, politicians, and people you know.
You must not use a cloned voice for fraud, scams, getting past voice verification or security checks, harassment, bullying, threats, defamation, sexual content involving a real person's likeness without consent, or political or election deception.
If you share something made with a cloned voice, don't present it as a genuine recording of that person.

We may remove voices or content, and block access to the service, if we believe these rules have been broken. We'll also cooperate with valid legal requests about misuse.

3. Songs and other content you provide

You're responsible for everything you upload, link or type: recordings, songs, YouTube links, prompts and lyrics. You confirm you have the right to use it this way.
Most commercial songs are protected by copyright. Making a cover for your own personal listening is one thing; publishing, streaming or selling it can require permission from the songwriter, publisher or label. Getting that permission is your responsibility.
Only paste YouTube links to content you're allowed to use, and follow YouTube's own terms.
Don't upload anything illegal, or content that infringes someone else's rights.

4. Permission you give us

You keep ownership of your recordings and content. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive permission to store, copy and process that content, and to send it to our service providers, only as needed to run Singself for you. This permission ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law. How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

5. What you create

As between you and us, you own the covers and songs you create, subject to the rights of others: the owners of any song you used, and the person whose voice was used. We don't claim ownership of your creations.

6. AI output

Singself uses AI models. Results vary with the quality of your recording and the song, and can be imperfect, inaccurate or unexpected. Similar requests from different users can produce similar output. Listen before you share.

7. The service

Singself is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running but don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that any feature will stay the same.
Processing times (for example, Pro voice training) are estimates.
We may change, suspend or stop the service or any feature. If Singself offers paid features, their price and terms will be shown in the app before you buy, and App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

8. Acceptable use of the service itself

Don't try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around limits of Singself or its servers, and don't use automated tools to access it.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or reputation, arising from your use of Singself. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Singself in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

You agree to cover us against claims by others that arise from content you uploaded or from your breaking these terms, especially section 2.

10. Ending use

You can stop using Singself at any time and ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.

12. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Singself or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above, and for important changes we'll say so in the app or on this site. Questions: support@singself.com.
