1. Who we are
Singself is made by SMBDM Technology LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). We decide how the data described here is used. Contact: support@singself.com.
2. What we collect and why

What we don't collect: no name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, advertising identifier or device identifier. The app doesn't have accounts. The current version sends no analytics or crash reports. If we turn on crash reporting later, we'll update this policy first.
On your phone: your list of voices and covers (names, dates, status and links to the audio files) is stored locally on your device. If you choose "Save to Photos", the app asks for permission to add the video to your photo library; it doesn't read your existing photos.
3. Who processes your data
We use a small number of service providers to run Singself. They process data only to provide their service to us:
- Replicate (Replicate, Inc., USA) runs the AI models that build your voice, swap vocals and write songs. Your voice samples, songs, prompts and lyrics are sent to Replicate for that processing, under Replicate's own retention terms.
- Apify (Apify Technologies s.r.o., Czech Republic) fetches the audio from YouTube links you paste. The fetched audio is kept in Apify's storage only temporarily; we copy it into our own storage.
- Vibecode hosts our server and the file storage that holds uploaded audio, voice models and generated songs.
- Apple delivers the app through the App Store and TestFlight. Apple's own privacy policy covers that.
Some providers are outside the UAE, mainly in the United States, so your data may be transferred there. We only use providers that protect data under contract.
We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your recordings to train AI models for anyone else. We'll disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect people from fraud or abuse.
4. How long we keep it
- Uploaded audio, voice samples, voice models and generated songs stay in our storage so the covers in your app keep playing. They're kept until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them to run the service.
- Copies at our providers (Replicate, Apify) are temporary and deleted under their retention policies.
- Technical logs are short-lived and used only for security and debugging.
- Data on your phone stays until you delete the voice or cover in the app, or delete the app.
5. Deleting your data
Email support@singself.com with the subject "Delete my data". Because there are no accounts, tell us what we need to find your files: roughly when you made them, the voice and song names, and if possible a shared link or file. We'll confirm when it's done, normally within 30 days. Deleting the app removes your local library, but it doesn't delete files on our servers. Only an email request does that.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and laws modelled on the EU GDPR, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- stop or limit how we use it, or object to a use;
- send it to you in a portable format.
Email support@singself.com. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Our legal bases: running the service you ask for (processing your recordings and songs), our legitimate interest in keeping it secure and working (technical logs), and your consent for device permissions such as the microphone, which you can withdraw in iPhone Settings at any time.
7. Voices of other people
A voice recording is personal data about the person speaking or singing. Only upload or link recordings of your own voice, or of someone who has agreed. If you believe your voice was used in Singself without your permission, email us and we'll remove it.
8. Children
Singself isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has used the app and uploaded recordings, email us and we'll delete them.
9. Security
Data travels between the app, our server and our providers over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to our storage and provider accounts is limited to the people who run Singself. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't upload recordings you would never want stored online.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the effective date above, and for important changes we'll say so in the app or on this site.
